10 Great – Free Bridal Shower Games

A bridal shower is a very important part of a wedding. It is a great time to get together and pamper the bride. The time is usually spent eating good food, playing some games and opening gifts. However, not all brides are fond of the shower games and do not like to be put on the spot. To make the day a relaxing and stress-free time for the bride, consider including bridal shower games that everyone will enjoy, without making the guest of honor stressed. Here are free bridal shower games we have handpicked for just this purpose:

What was the bride wearing? – Before the wedding shower, make a list of 10 questions about how the bride looks. For example, what color was her shirt? Shoes? Was she wearing earrings? Bracelet? Was her hair down or tied up? Then, once all of the guests have arrived and had some time to get to know one another, ask the bride to casually leave the room without telling anyone. Hand out paper and pens to all the guests. Then announce that the next game is “What was the bride wearing?” Take out your list of questions, and ask the questions with each guest writing down their answers. The bride can then return to the room and everyone can see how they did. The guest who answers the most questions correctly wins a prize.

The Bridal Shower Purse Game – Have players find a partner and sit together with their purses. Then call off a list of items one by one. For example, lipstick, quarter, button, fingernail clipper, scissors, cell phone, picture of family, shoelace, rock, etc. The first person to find the item in their purse and show it to you gets a point. The team with the most points in the end wins. You will be surprised at the crazy things people have in their purses!

Here’s a real good bridal shower game. Really games in one.

Right Left Bridal Shower Game By: Sherry J

Everyone sits in a circle. Wrap two or three gifts (depending on the number of guests you have) and give
to two or three guests sitting in the circle. (space the gifts out) Tell the guests to listen closely as you
read the following story below and pass the gifts to their left or right whenever they hear it read. Don’t
read this to slow, it will make the game much funnier as your guest try to keep up and pass the gifts in
the correct order. Don’t stop to let them catch up if they get confused. Let them figure that out for
themselves. Whoever is holding the gift at the end, wins that gift.

(Bride’s name) knew RIGHT away that she had found Mr. RIGHT and the RIGHT date was set. Now
seemed to be the RIGHT time to start so she LEFT RIGHT after lunch and went RIGHT to her mother’s
house. She LEFT in such a hurry that she LEFT her to do list RIGHT on the living room table. But
there was not time to turn back. She knew she needed to get started RIGHT away to make sure nothing
was LEFT undone.

With only 42 days until wedding day, there seemed to be little time LEFT to spare and so much LEFT to
do. She asked her mother to WRITE down a guest list because she knew mom would make sure no one
was LEFT out. (Bride’s name) LEFT to find the RIGHT invitations. On her way, she LEFT a message at
the florist and then RIGHT into the bridal shop she ran.

RIGHT in the window was the perfect dress. “Oh no, I LEFT my checkbook RIGHT in the car.” “Hold
that dress, I’ll be RIGHT back.” With that done, she called Mr. RIGHT and LEFT him a message to call
her RIGHT back. She LEFT to meet the florist who had LEFT her a message that they had the RIGHT
flowers for her.

Mr. RIGHT called her RIGHT back and said he LEFT a message for the preacher RIGHT down the road
from her mothers to call them RIGHT back and that he had just LEFT work and would be RIGHT over.

She LEFT the florist and ran RIGHT over to meet Mr. RIGHT. RIGHT away they discussed what was
LEFT to do. “Who will be the RIGHT best man?” She LEFT left that up to Mr. RIGHT. “I’ll get the RIGHT
maid of Honor.”

RIGHT away they started shopping for the RIGHT rings. With that done, the next stop was at the You
Have Come To The Right Place Bakery to pick out the perfect cake. Mr. RIGHT could clearly see his
future, Mrs. RIGHT was on the RIGHT track.

After a long day, they were both LEFT exhausted. All that was LEFT to do was get RIGHT home to see
if any messages were LEFT while they were out. Sure enough, Mom had LEFT a message that the
church RIGHT down the road was available so she requested it RIGHT away. Now that was not LEFT to
worry about. “Lets call it a day.” “Whatever is LEFT to do, can be LEFT until tomorrow.” They agreed
and with a kiss, he LEFT and she went RIGHT to bed.

End of Story. If you are holding a gift, you are the winner.

With this story 16 different guests will get the gift at least once. (counting the person who starts with
the gift #1) As an added bonus, you could have a small gift set aside and then ask everyone to write
down how many times they think the gift was passed thru the whole story. The answer is 63 (remember,
the last person doesn’t pass the gift, they were the winner)

See how many people really listened to what you were reading. This game can be played right after you
have read the right/left bridal shower story or play another game and then go back to these questions.
You’ll be surprised at the guests who were so busy listening for the words right or left that they can’t
remember the answers to these questions.
